Sunday School
Building Blocks: An exciting program that blends the Sunday School hour as well as the Worship hour into one fun-filled, Christ-centered, character-building program. Our desire is to lay the “building blocks” of their faith in God. We fill our 2 through 5 year olds Sunday morning with Bible stories, Crafts, snack time, play time, Bible videos, singing, and much more.
Maximum Impact: (1st – 6th grade) An intense two hour program that unites the Sunday School and the Children’s church into an action packed program that keeps the child’s attention. This program combines the Fun-factor with the Word of God to have a “Maximum Impact” on each child. Exciting stories, competition, puppet shows, memory verses, sound Bible teaching, and more make up a church program that your children will want to be a part of each Sunday morning!
Fusion: (7th – 12th grade) The motto of our teen ministry is to “fuse the Word with the Walk.” This is probably the most crucial time in a person’s life. So many of life’s decisions will be made or decided during this time, and it is imperative that we train our teens in the relevance of the Word of God to their life. Fusion, through our interactive Sunday School time, Activities, and Devotional guide “Core Truths”, show the teen that the Word of God has an answer for everything that they will face in life! Some of the highlights of our teen calendar are our Red-eye night, teen camp, mission trip, and our “Truth Alive” summer activity. Would you like to keep up-to-date on our teen activities? Singles Ministry: We have just begun our singles/ College and Career ministry. We are excited about the many young adults that the Lord has given us to minister to. Our singles group meets monthly for Fellowship and fun that includes white-water rafting, a camping trip, six-flags, Bible studies, prayer time, and much more. A weekly Sunday School class is also offered.
Adult Ministries: Monthly Ladies Bible studies and Men’s prayer breakfasts, along with an Interactive Adult Sunday School time make up our present adult ministry. As we expand into new space, we look forward to adding additional Sunday School topics as well as activities for each adult “group”.
Transportation Ministry: Our core belief is that every person should have the opportunity to be taught the Word of God. With this vision, Heritage has provided transportation to and from our Sunday morning services free of charge. If you do not have a way to church, please contact us, and we would be glad to bring you to church this Sunday morning!
Nursery: Babies are a gift from God, and at Heritage they are treated as such. We have a fully-staffed, clean nursery for your baby, so you may participate in Sunday School and the Morning worship hour without distraction. Our ladies are mothers and grandmothers themselves, and love the opportunity to minister to you by tenderly caring for your child.
